Billy black someone from the audience to light the fuse but it went out and he said ” ho no it went out.
” Then he crept up to it and pulled it out and threw it of the stage and it went Bang!
Ishbel screamed and cuddled up to mum and every one jumped but me.
I laughed when it went bang and Ishbel cried. Billy black said that it was only sand instead of gun power.
He said the gun power was wet that made it even more dangerous and scary.
I actually thought that it was gun power. I thought it was going to be an explosion and might blow up the building and kill us.

Eilas Assembly
On Monday 28th of June Mum, Ishbel and I went to Eila’s school in town for Eilas assembly and to get her certificate and badge. After that we went to Postie Plus and got some tights for Ishbel and a printer for mum, pencil sharpener and pencils for me.

Fishing
On Wednesday 16th Rodney, Kase, Aliarne,Ishbel, Busta, Toby and I went fishing at the Waitara wharf for a little while. Then we went to the river mouth. Toby caught two fish and Busta caught one fish. At the end I tangled my line up. Mr Barnes tried to untangle it but he couldn't. Then Dad tried to untangle it but he couidnt. Then we did some jobs for Mum. Then we went home and did nothing.

Pancakes
This is how to make pancakes
Ingredients
Frying pan
Half a cup flower
Water
1 egg
1 cup of milk
Method
1 Put frying pan on stove to heat (medium heat) with 1 tbsp vegetable oil.
2 Turn on oven (100 C) and put in 1 plate for the pancakes and other plates for the eaters.
3 Mix milk and water then beat in the egg.
4 Add mixture slowly to flour in a bowl. Stir well after adding each 20% of the fluid mixture. When it is still more solid than liquid (after adding about 40%) beat the mixture well to get rid of lumps.
5 Finish adding all the liquid and stir well. The batter should resemble thin cream.
6 Wipe the frying pan with a paper towel to distribute the oil thinly. Keep the oily paper towel.
7 Add just less than 1/2 cup (approx 100 mL) to the hot pan and tilt the pan in different directions to quickly spread the batter all over the pan surface.
8 Let the pancake cook until the edges start to curl up. If you shake the pan the pancake should start to lift up. If necessary use a spatula to free the pancake. Toss the pancake (AVI, 26 MB). Let it cook for another 30 seconds and then tip onto the pancake plate in the oven.
9 Wipe the pan again with the oily paper towel and make the next pancake :-)
10 Serve with slices of lemon, powdered (icing) sugar and butter.

TE Wera Camp
On Monday it was senior camp at Te Wera.There was kayaking , mudrun, eeling, making bivvies, rope course, water slide, flying fox and the rope challenge, burma trail, and the archery . Kayaking is finer, water slide is the finest , the mudrun is the muddiest ,eeling is the coolest and rope course is scariest. I think that camp is cool.

Swimming Sports
On Tuesday was swimming sports I got 3 first , 2 seconds , a trophy and a certificate I came in freestyle first , backstroke second, flutter board second , freestyle two widths first, breaststroke first and I think that I deserved it.
